About the Event
Running the same route since first created in 1983, the California International Marathon (CIM) takes runners through rural countryside and the towns of Orangevale, Citrus Heights, Fair Oaks, and Carmichael before reaching the city of Sacramento for the State Capitol finish.
It has grown from 1,600 runners in 1983 to more than 9,000 marathoners in recent years.
Come to Fair Oaks Village to cheer the CIM runners while enjoying all the beautiful Classic Cars parked throughout the Village.
Visit the FOVEC booth with your children for face painting and to make a Christmas craft.
Stay and shop the unique merchants and grab something to eat.
